Utilizing the latest in thermal scanning technology, JCI can quickly and accurately identify internal, structural flaws that are causing or are about to cause moisture damage. Our thermal imaging techniques will detect moisture indicators through the isolation of low temperatures in drywall, insulation, studs, and carpet. The thermal scan allows visual detection and analysis of the building envelope without unnecessary intrusive investigation. JCI's custom rain simulation racks, adjustable for most multi-story dwellings, provide consistent and accurate simulation of natural rain under controlled conditions. This technique enables detailed analysis and identification of the source of water intrusion. Unlike other damaging high-pressure test methods, the calibrated simulators meet ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) standards for water testing exterior windows, doors and skylights.
